Frequently asked questions

Will the Word document look identical to the original PDF?

No. The conversion extracts only the text and places it into paragraphs, so the original layout, images, tables, and font styles are not preserved. It's best suited for continuing to edit the content.

Can I convert a scanned PDF?

No. Scanned PDFs contain only images of the pages, so there is no text layer to extract. Optical character recognition (OCR) is not supported.

How are multiple pages handled?

The text from every page is joined in page order into a single DOCX document. Each extracted line becomes one paragraph.

Where can I open the resulting DOCX?

In any editor that supports DOCX, including Microsoft Word, Hancom Office, Google Docs, and LibreOffice.

Is my PDF sent anywhere?

No. Your file never leaves your device. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
