Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF look identical to the original Word document?
Not exactly. Headings, bold text, paragraph alignment, lists, and tables are carried over, and everything else is re-typeset with the default styles. Images, headers and footers, italics, the original fonts and colours, and merged cells are not preserved.
Can I convert an older DOC file?
No. The Word 97-2003 DOC format is not supported. Re-save the file as DOCX in Word, then convert it.
Are Korean documents supported?
Yes. Pretendard is used to display Korean text. The font is downloaded only once (a few MB) and cached afterward, so subsequent conversions start immediately.
Can I convert a password-protected DOCX?
No. Password-protected documents can't be read, so the tool shows a notice instead of converting. Remove the password and try again.
Is my document sent anywhere?
No. Your file never leaves your device. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
