Frequently asked questions

Do the ebook's images and design carry over to the PDF?

No. This conversion extracts body text only. The cover, illustrations, fonts, and original typesetting are not included in the resulting PDF.

Can I convert an ebook I bought from a store?

EPUBs protected by DRM (digital rights management) cannot be opened, so the conversion is rejected. Only DRM-free EPUBs can be converted.

How is the reading order determined?

The chapters are joined in the reading order (spine) defined in the EPUB itself.

Do ebooks in Korean convert correctly?

Yes. A Korean font is embedded when the PDF is created, so Korean text displays correctly without broken characters.

Is my EPUB file sent anywhere?

No. Your file never leaves your device. The conversion runs inside your browser and nothing is sent out.
